Live Dashboard & Capacity

The Live Dashboard (/admin/dashboard) is your real-time operational command center. Every metric, capacity bar, and device badge updates automatically over SignalR as visitors check in and move through your counters.

Dashboard Components

1. Live KPI Strip

Four high-contrast metric cards summarize current activity across your selected location:

Currently Waiting: Total visitors waiting in line right now.
Currently Serving: Visitors actively being served at a desk.
Avg. Wait Time: Today’s rolling average time from check-in to callout.
Avg. Serving Time: Today’s average consultation/service duration per completed ticket.

2. Narrative Health Banner

A contextual status banner at the top of the page alerts you only when action is required:

Highlights if any paired Kiosk, Desk, or TV Display has unexpectedly gone Offline.
Guides you through remaining setup steps if a new location is missing a queue or service category.

3. Waiting Heatmap (Live vs. Today)

Visualizes visitor arrival intensity by hour of the day across each waiting area. Toggle between Live and Today views to spot bottlenecks at a glance.

4. Customer Sankey Flow

Renders a proportional flow diagram illustrating how today’s visitors travel from Waiting Areas → Service Categories → Service Desks.

Queue & Device Quick Tables

Below the visualizations, two interactive tables provide immediate operational control:

Waiting Areas Table: Shows live occupancy against configured MaxCapacity (e.g., 6 / 20 waiting), active status, and one-click links to Visitor Flow or queue settings.
Devices Table: Displays all Entrance Kiosks, Service Desks, and TV Displays with live connection badges (Online, Offline, Unpaired, Out of Order) and quick access to Device Management.
